Style Spotlight: Elin Kling
The thing I love most about personal style fashion bloggers is that their style is everyday with high-end luxury pieces mixed up with pieces from Forever 21, H&M, and Topshop. Pulling style inspiration from a few magazines (who are highly influenced by advertising, anyway) or a few brands can be pretty boring which is why I like to go out into the wild, wild web to find fresh ideas. I adore Swedish personal style blogger, Elin Kling, for her short and sweet posts as well as her minimal androgynous tendencies. It’s amazing how Elin invents new ways to wear the same staple pieces in her wardrobe making them the perfectly practical purchase. This past February Elin was the first ever blogger to design a 9 piece collection for European super start H&M, you can view the pieces here but won’t be able purchase unless you’re in Sweden.
My favourites from Elin’s wardrobe are her:
- Classic button down dress shirts
- Tough ankle boots
- Signature Ray Bans
- Small injections of colour
