taylor in vogue

If you know me even in the slightest, my love and admiration for Taylor Swift is no secret at all. In fact, everyone that knows me, knows better than to say anything bad about Miss Swift without expectations of a full blown argument or possible banishment from my life, period.

Yes, it is that serious. Taylor writes everything that I wish I could say and everything that I could never myself put in words as well as she does. Taylor’s music is to me, what music is all about. Her songs take me back to such specific memories – ‘Last Kiss’ practically makes the memory of my first and only heartbreak under a lifeguard stand a good one because it’s exactly how I felt but could never explain. ‘Enchanted’ captures everything I felt when I said goodbye to the beautiful Australian guy I had just met in Paris ten days after we met. Really, I could go on and on about how much I love Taylor Swift and how much her music really means to me and how she could probably run the world but I will save that type of daydreaming for my bestie over some cocktails and a jukebox session.
