this week
This week was kind of crazy – it started out really stressful because I was preparing for two events this past Wednesday (IFBcon and a professional networking event with CEW) that were both really important. I was becoming discouraged and overwhelmed by all that can be encompassed when you’re unemployed and looking for a job. Long story short, my nerves were soothed and I had an amazing time at both of these events! I found the information being shared invaluable and made some great connections that have really given me inspiration and confidence to keep putting my best foot forward. There were some really awesome topics covered with equally awesome contributors at the IFB conference that have sparked some ideas for some blog posts that will cover said topics more in-depth. Overall, this week was great and the preparation and stress that it started out with was totally worth it for the outcome.
In somewhat related news, I love New York more every time I go there and it may or may not have 70 percent to do with the food but it is a necessity after all. I can’t wait to move there!
